This elegant, vintage venetian mirroir a parecloses is in gorgeous condition and is one of LaBarge’s earlier pieces. It is ornate without being over the top or gaudy.
It has four (maybe 8 depending on if they run underneath the framing) canted side mirror panels or parecloses separated and held in place from the main center mirror by hand carved gilt wood ornamentation. The parecloses were also antiqued to produce a smoking mirror effect adding a touch of drama to this piece and your space.
The antique gold and ox blood finish is a hard to find finish on an already extremely rare mirror. The unique, cinnabar-like accent makes this mirror the perfect piece for bridging warm color combinations in your space.
Circa 1980’s, this mirror measures approximately by and it’s symmetry allows it to be positioned vertically or horizontally.
There is a hanging wire attached by the previous owner. However, this goes against what the proper hanging instructions say on the yellow label on the back. Trust us, this mirror looks even more stunning in person!
